Please use the tax organizer (see download below) along with this list of items to make sure you have everything for tax preparation.
- Completed Organizer questionnaire (check electronic filing if desired)
- A copy of your 2008 individual income tax returns (if not on file in our office)
- Forms(s) W-2 (wages, lottery, gambling winnings, etc.)
- Form(s) 1099 (interest, dividends, pensions, disability, retirement, social security statements, etc.)
- Schedule(s) K-1 (income/loss from Partnerships, S Corporations, Estates/Trusts, etc.)
- Form(s) 1098 (mortgage interest) and real estate property tax bills/statements
- Brokerage statements from stock, bond, mutual fund or other investment transactions
- Cost Basis information for sale of stock, bond, mutual fund, or other investment sales
- Closing statements pertaining to real estate transactions (sale/purchase)
- Automobile Purchase Agrements(s) - special Sales Tax deduction
- Any tax notices received from the IRS or other taxing authorities
- All other supporting documents as they relate to energy, donations, child care expenses, etc.
